The Künstlerhaus (artists’ showroom) Lukas is a place of artistic works and international encounters in a north-European context.
For over 120 years, artists have been coming to the showroom, which was founded by the painter Paul Müller-Kaempff. In doing so, he laid the foundations for the artists’ colony. Emerging artists, authors, composers and choreographers come from the northern European
countries for sought-after work stays. Special events and monthly open-house days give visitors the opportunity to get an interesting glimpse into the latest artistic developments in the studio, in lectures, discussions, performances or concerts of new music.
