Bunte Stube
The house has had a fine arrangement of regional literature for over 90 years, a cultural meeting place for artists and fans of art.
The Bunte Stube was founded by Martha Wegscheider and the painter Hans Brass in June 1922. The small premise with its distinctive red-white design by the Bauhaus architect Walter Butzek in 1929 has been developing to an important buildung in Ahrenshoop. These days books, handicrafts, jewellery, natural products and a small gallery determine the offer.
